Who is responsible

Chantal Johnson is a sole trader trading as The Reformer Studio and is the controller for the studio’s personal information.

Website enquiries

The contact form collects your name, phone number, email address and message. The floating enquiry widget collects your name, phone number and message. Both send enquiries through Formspree. Please do not include medical records or sensitive health details in these forms. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and arrange requested sessions.

The proposed Article 6 bases are steps requested before entering a contract for booking enquiries, and legitimate interests in responding to general enquiries. These bases require controller approval; optional marketing requires a separate lawful basis and is not enabled by these enquiry forms.

Booking, payment and health screening information

Group bookings take place on Gymcatch, outside this website. One-to-one sessions are arranged directly with the studio. This website does not take card payments or contain a health-screening form. New clients are asked to complete a health questionnaire before their first class.

Health information is special category data. A valid Article 6 basis and a separate Article 9 condition must be identified before collecting it. If explicit consent is used, it must be informed, specific, recorded, withdrawable and separate from marketing consent. This draft does not assert that such consent has already been obtained.

Providers and international transfers

• Replit: website hosting and associated infrastructure.
• Formspree: website enquiry form delivery.
• Google: Gmail for studio email and Google Maps only after you allow optional content.
• Gymcatch: external booking service; its exact role and payment arrangements require confirmation.
• WhatsApp / Meta: when you choose to contact the studio using WhatsApp; the website link does not load a WhatsApp tracking widget.
• No analytics or automated SMS reply service is configured in the website code.

Website fonts

The website requests its fonts from Google Fonts when a page loads. These requests expose connection information, including an IP address, to Google even when optional map content is refused. No Google Fonts cookie was observed in the browser check.

Cookies and your choices

We store your cookie choice in your browser. Optional Google Maps content is not loaded before permission and can be disabled through Cookie settings in the footer. Our cookie policy describes observed hosting technologies and the limits of our audit. We do not use website enquiry submissions as consent to marketing.

Your rights

Depending on the lawful basis and circumstances, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. You can raise concerns about automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects; no such decision-making is implemented by the website enquiry forms.

Data-rights requests normally require a response within one month, subject to the lawful extensions and exceptions. We may need proportionate identity information to protect your data.

Data protection complaints

Send a data protection complaint to Chantal Johnson using the contact details above. The applicable complaints duties require acknowledgement within 30 days, appropriate investigation without undue delay, progress updates and communication of the outcome. This is a legal requirement, not an invented studio service-level promise.
