Legal and information
Exercise and health disclaimer
This website provides general fitness information, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Version 1.0. Updated 19 October 2026. First draft for client and solicitor review; not a statement that legal compliance has been certified.
Before starting exercise
If you have a medical condition, injury, are pregnant or have recently had a baby, consult your GP or an appropriate healthcare professional before starting exercise. Contact the studio before booking if you are unsure about suitability.
New clients complete a health questionnaire before their first class. Tell the instructor about relevant limitations through the agreed screening process. Stop exercising and seek appropriate help if you feel unwell or experience pain.
Instruction and individual outcomes
Melissa provides exercise instruction, not medical assessment or treatment. No medical-practitioner status is claimed. Sessions can support strength, flexibility, mobility, posture, balance and core stability; individual outcomes vary.
The studio does not promise to treat, cure or rehabilitate any named medical condition, and does not guarantee weight loss or results within a particular time. Speak to a qualified healthcare professional about medical concerns.
Suitability and support
Small group classes welcome all levels, and private sessions can be arranged directly for beginners and advanced clients. The instructor will discuss your experience and goals, but this is not a substitute for medical advice.
